Margarita Meitani
Borned in Athens, she studied Archeology at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and Jewelry Design and Manufacturing at IEK Mokume. For many years she organized and taught seminars for the making of jewelry in various institutions.
In 2005 she opens her own workshop in the center of Athens. In her jewelry, called Handwritten Jewelry, (the “Manuscripts”), she engraves by hand, verses of the greatest Greek poets such as Elytis, Seferis, Cavafy and others, on the metal (silver or brass), with her special graphic character. Handwritten Jewelry" is sold in many shops throughout Greece, Cyprus and abroad.
